Greg was a Native American, a veteran of Vietnam, and a member of the Wall Washing Crew at the WADC Vietnam Memorial. A friend Jd was honored to know.
VIETNAM WAR MEMORIAL
Greg’s group takes care of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC. Additionally, they have a program on TV about Veterans. They are using Jd’s paintings “Ashes to Dust” and “Apache Wind” as backdrops. These images in poster form are being sold and the profits go to the Memorial. The original “Ashes to Dust” commissioned painting was donated by Jd.

OREN LYONS
A Native American Faithkeeper of the Turtle clan of the Onondaga and Seneca Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy. Once a college lacrosse player, Lyons is now a recognized advocate of indigenous rights.
Jd was commissioned to do a painting of Oren Lyons. Jd considered this a huge honor because he was privileged to spend quality time with Mr. Lyons during the modeling, sketching and studio phase of the project.
